Selective Timber HarvestingMost Common
A careful, targeted approach that removes low-value, overcrowded, or declining trees to improve overall forest health. Promotes stronger growth, better sunlight distribution, and long-term timber value. This is what we do most.
Shelterwood Harvesting
A multi-stage harvest that removes trees gradually, allowing young seedlings to establish under partial shade. Supports natural regeneration while protecting new growth.
Thinning Operations
Removes select trees to reduce overcrowding and improve the quality and growth rate of the remaining stand. Ideal for younger or mid-rotation timber.
Timber Stand Improvement (TSI)
Focuses on removing undesirable or low-quality trees to enhance the health, value, and productivity of the forest — often used to prepare a stand for future harvests.
House Lot Clearing
